Successful mechanical weeding requires a powerful and flexible set-up. With 420 tines over 7 rows, the Arcadia is ready for efficient weeding at a working width of 12.20m. Arranged in 5 sections and with up to 10 gauge wheels, the Arcadia is ready to follow the ground contour in various conditions.
Sustainable
Due to climate changes, farmers are often faced with draught resulting in hard soil surface with limited water reserve. Heavy rain falls, as the other weather extreme, result in slaking crusts. The supply of nutrients to the roots needs to be improved. By cracking the upper topsoil, the Arcadia promotes seed emergence and restores the water and air flow, stimulating physico-chemical reactions and soil life.
Precise
Selective mechanical weeding asks for precision. The advanced tine technology provides the right balance between aggressive weed removal and crop protection. Even working depth adjusted to the height of crop emergence and sowing depth reduces the negative impact on the crops. Precise independent tine management allows to work as aggressively as necessary, maximizing performance and output.
Versatile
Conditions in field vary. Individual farming concepts have been set up. The compact closed frame design of the Arcadia with a generous underbeam clearance allows to work on ridges and beds while minimizing the risk of blocakges. Either floating or rigid, the Arcadia is quickly adapting to individual field conditions and tasks.
